I also would like you to know that I have strongly recommended your services in the intranet of the Judiciary System, as I am a prosecutor here in Brasilia. Some friends, prosecutors, judges and lawyers, who learned we were going to Patagonia, wanted to know details about the travel agency, as some of them are willing to visit Easter Island and Puccon. As I have told them, I travel every year to foreing countries and you were far the best travel agent I have ever dealed with.

Sorry for the extremely long time in getting back to you. The rest of the holiday was fantastic  -really well organised and only marred slightly by the fact that it rained constantly in Rio from the plane hitting the tarmac! Good job we had our Gore Tex jackets!! It really was the holiday of a lifetime, so thank you so much to you and Claudia for all of the hard work you put into making it so. We really enjoyed the time we spent with you and meant what we said if ever you find yourself in the North East - just give us a shout - though I am sure the pizza won't be quite as good!
Anyway, take care for now and hope to hear from you again soon.

Subject: An Absolutely Wonderful Holiday
Dear Claudia,
We are now home in Australia, after a wonderful 5 weeks in South America. We wished we could have stayed longer, but unfortunately work commitments did not allow this. Thank you for the hard work that went into making this a most enjoyable holiday, probably one of the best that we have ever had. Everything went according to plan.
Our accommodation in El Calafate was really lovely and they were extremely helpful. Our bus transfers were perfectly timed, as our private transfer was waiting for us as we came through the immigration at Cerro Castillo. Our driver – Rodriguez was excellent.
Hosteria Lago Grey was just wonderful. Our rooms were excellent, the outlook was just superb. I couldn’t imagine staying in a more wonderful place. The food was excellent, as was the service.
And of course, the Skorpios Cruise was out of this world. Top class accommodation, service and superb scenery followed us everywhere.

Just to let you know how pleased we were with all the arrangements you made for us - and what a magnificent country it all is. We have just got back and we are still rather dazed by it all.
But I would particularly like to say how much we appreciated Catherina at Ushuaia, who was very helpful when we had the payment problem you know about; and also Santiago's arrangements at El Calafate. 
The guide Santiago arranged to take us to the Perito Moreno glacier was extremely nice and she was very informative about all the things we wanted to know.  We both liked her very much, but I am afraid I still haven't got her name right, the nearest I can get to it is AnnaNerise. She also came out to the airport with us when we flew back to Buenos Aires which we thought was very nice of her.  Santiago also arranged a very helpful driver (Reuben)to take us to Cerro Castillo for our trip to Torres del Paine.  I think because Reuben realised that we spoke very little Spanish - and maybe because Cerro Castillo is a bit like the back of beyond - he got the people in the cafe there to keep an eye on us and make sure we got onto the right bus.  That of course was Via Terra and they were very helpful too.
I would also say that Hosteria El Pilar was for us absolutely delightful and I can't imagine a better place to stay in the Fitzroy area. Eeveryone we spoke to about the Hosteria said the same.  The Hosteria las Torres was where we wanted to be and we left a note for the manager to say how much we'd enjoyed staying there.  It is quite expensive of course and we met one English couple who were grumbling about that; but the Hosteria's costs must be pretty high and after all they have to make their profit in quite a short season.
The Posada Palermo in Buenos Aires was another delightful place; it is the private home of the owner, Viiviana; she is an architect.  She generally joined us and other visitors for breakfast and we very much enjoyed talking to her. We found the house very attractive and the breakfasts were excellent.
The other two hotels you booked for us, the Ushuaia hotel and the El Quijote, were both very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. In fact we were struck wherever we went by the warmth and hospitality of the people we met.

We just returned from our trip to South America (Chile, Argentina, and Brazil) last last week. We had a fantastic time, especially on our adventures in Patagonia. What a magical place! Mas alquilar um auto é fundamental para conecer todo el Parque, se ud ficar com transfer, gasto mucho tiempo e $,y el custo com auto compensa mucho.
Pontos positivos dela H. Rio Serrano: landscape mui linda, +- cerca del Grey area, donde fomos ao Mont Ferrier e Mirador del Glaciar Grey, las habitaciones superiores são mui buenas, com landscape linda, atendimiento e limpeza mui buena; Los pontos negativos são la cena mui pobre, pouco alimento, mucho pouca opiciones e mui caro.
Pontos Positivos dela H.Las Torres: desayuno e principalmiente cena mui rica, atendimiento en el restaurant perfecto, el matre e los moços ok ok, (embora el preço alto tambien) Localizacion unica para base de las torres, mi auto teve problema com la bateria e tenemos ayuda mui clara,ok.
Las Sinalizaciones en el parque estan ok.
El recorrido desde El Calafate haste TDP fui tranquilo, cruzamos Cancha Carrera > Cerro Castillo, donde há Nafta pra auto, mas caro que argentina, mas mesmo preço que brasil. No Bueno é passar pela burocracia dela Aduana e policia fronteiriza, mas...
Bueno, gracias por tudo e pergunto a ud : quando retornarmos ao chile o argentina, las reservas delos hoteles puedem ser atraves de ud tambiem?

Hi Charles, 
I want you to know that we had a phenomenal trip. It truly was incredible, and thanks to all of your help, everything went very smoothly. Everything you arranged really worked out very well. I just want to give you a trip report: the car rental went extremely smoothly, your directions to Hotel Marchihue were perfect (we didn't even have a map, but we followed your few and simple directions and they got us right there!). We honestly weren't crazy about Hotel Marchihue (it was a bit slow for our tastes), but we did enjoy eating from the fruit trees, going horse back-riding, and seeing the Milky Way. 
The private tour to see the penguins at Otway was fabulous. He picked us up and drove us there and to Puerto Natales, and we loved seeing the penguins. And we LOVED Hotel Antiplanico! What a great hotel with a fabulous view. We didn't want to leave it! Fabulous recommendation! Our flights on Sky Airlines went well, too. 
Patagonia/Torres was magnificent. It feels like it was a dream. Every view was spectacular. We had a phenomenal time. 
Thank you for all of your help. It was a pleasure to work with you. I especially appreciated how quickly you always responded to my emails and questions.

The only downfall came at Hosteria Pehoe. The food and accomodation were a disappointment. Fortunately the other refugios/ hosteria were of excellent standard - warm and very welcoming.

We made a last minute booking at hosteria lago grey for night of 21st (under my husbands name) hence the reason for changing the transfer time. We have just finished the "W" hike and it was amazing!

Sorry for the delay regarding our Patagonia package feedback.
Overall, our group of 5-people enjoyed the trip to Patagonia! The hotels were nice, especially since we were on a budget. We would definitely recommend the trip to others! All of the service staff were professional. Our tour guide, Paola, was nice and informative. Our transportation was reliable and on time at each pick-up/drop-off location.
However, we would have liked to stay in a hotel location in TDP where we could participate in more outdoor activities (i.e. horse back riding, hiking). And, it would have been great to receive the package vouchers and itinerary in advance.

Thanks for letting me know. Yes, we added an extra night at Hosteria Las Torres because I sprained my ankle on the trek and didn´t think I should be walking all the way to Chileno. I apologize for not going through you for the change of plans. We didn´t have any way of contacting while you in the Pätagonia.
We´re in the airport now, waiting for our return flight. We absolutely loved our trip and all of your recommendations! You did a fantastic job of coordinating all of our travel. We really appreciate your help- It wouldn´t have been the same without you.

Apologies for not replying sooner - I found myself in a car driving to Cornwall for a long w/e within hours of arriving back in the UK!
Chile was absolutely fantastic! I was going to drop you a line anyway to say thanks for putting together such an excellent schedule, and to assure you I will be encouraging all my friends to go to Chile ASAP and to use your services to ensure a good trip...
Juan Catalan is the perfect driver - knowledgeable, charming and relaxed. He seemed really committed to ensuring I had an interesting time and that everything went smoothly. And indeed everything did, with the exception of getting lost in West Santiago's suburbs on the way back to the airport - good job I allowed an extra hour or things might've been very tight.
Patagonia and the Salto Chico were tremendous - I made it to Glacier Grey and a did a 20km trek up the French Valley the following day. Two days is not enough so I am glad I promised my wife I would take her there at some point in the future before I left the UK.
The Ruta del Vino was also interesting although I suppose if I had been a little more organised I would have liked to fit in an extra vineyard - I went to MontGras & Bisquerrt. Amazingly I was the only guest in the hotel on my first night - talk about low season!
All in all a great trip and I look forward to returning to Chile in the future, if only to make use of the new roads around Santiago!

First I want to thank you for your excellent advice and assistance re our recent trip. We were thrilled with all Chile has to offer, top to bottom--extraordinary vistas and lovely people everywhere we went. The accomodations you directed us to worked out well (more on that below), and we would have missed the majesty of the Carretera Austral south of Coyhaique if you hadn't urged us to go south instead of north out of Balmaceda.
