Hello, I am Charles Hallifax the founder and owner of our British holding company Anglo Chilena Ltd, and of our brands: experiencechile.org and torres-del-paine.org.

I am British but I have lived and worked in Chile since 1989. My ethos has been to offer a travel design and reservation service that is not only personal and friendly, but is based upon good local knowledge. We are not tryng to be the cheapest, but we do aim to be the most professional. Our service is administered by myself and a team of competent, local staff based in Santiago, Chile managed by me and partners based in Argentina.

We specialise in Chile because we know the country well, in a very personal, “close up” way including destinations such as Easter Island, Torres del Paine, San Pedro de Atacama, Pucon, Puerto Varas, Chiloe, Patagonia, Carretera Austral, Santiago, Buenos Aires, Foz de Iguazu, Salta, Valparaiso, Vina del Mar, Zapallar as well as the Cruises and the Antarctic – probably better than any other travel company.

We make sure our local knowledge of the area is kept up to date through regular visits and inspection trips and from having our own staff based in Chile. Our aim is to keep things personal by overseeing each reservation request and attending to our clients’ individual requirements. We welcome requests from singles, couples or small groups from ANY country in the world.

We can also arrange custom-designed  itineraries with complete discretion for VIP celebrities and clients who demand privacy – including a security detail if required.

To ensure that we deliver a quality service I have personally visited ALL the hotels we offer in our Torres del Paine service. The local knowledge that I and my staff maintain is paramount to the service we offer and our policy, therefore, is to work ONLY with hotels that we know from personal experience – in effect “checking out” hotels and travel itineraries on behalf of our clients.
