Introduction

The Fundo Los Leones is located beside the Pitipalena fiord, amid 3,000 acres of natural Patagonia. This area is one of the remotest, tranquil spots on Earth.

The Fundo, which means farm, offers five small, cosy and homely cottages for guests. This is a place where the electricity gets cut off at night and the only sounds are that of the water lapping the shore and any local fauna.

About

On the eastern side of the farm is the Pitipalena Fiord where there are often dolphins, penguins and occasionally orcas. On the western side of the property is the Palena river, which flows directly into the Pacific Ocean.

The Palena River is known for its excellent salmon and trout fishing, but also offers great kayaking and rafting. In the distance is the Corcovado National Park covering 726,000 acres and home to the Melimoyu Volcano at 2,400m as well as other snow-covered Andean peaks.

Raul Marin Balmaceda is a tiny fishing village is to the north of the property and on the edge of the 204,000 acre Tic Toc Marine Park, home to pristine beaches and numerous varieties of marine life.
