Introduction
This is a small, cosy lodge located just over 1km from Puerto Natales. Built on a hill side the rooms on the fiord side offer nice views of the Fiord of Last Hope and the mountains the other side.
About
The Hotel Weskar is a family-run, small lodge located on a hill side up from the water’s edge of the Fiord of Last Hope and about 1km from Puerto Natales.
Made entirely from native Lenga wood the ambience is one of a warm home. Rooms are cosy with each one being a little different to the other in terms of space and design. Some are in the attic sector; others are on the second floor and others on the ground floor. Some face the fiord and others face the back of the hill.
The latest and newest rooms are the superior ones located in a separate building to the main hotel.
The small restaurant serves breakfast and simple meals. The lounge offers a relaxing area to read a book or unwind.
If you like cosiness and a relaxed atmosphere, then this is the hotel for you.
Where is Hotel Weskar
The lodge is located 1.2km from the northern edge of Puerto Natales on a hillside.
The Rooms
There are no T.V.’s in the rooms at this hotel.
Superior Fiord View Rooms
These rooms are located in a totally separate building to the main hotel.
The rooms at Weskar lodge are divided into two categories. The superior rooms all have a fine view to the fiord as well as being very modern with a split level, open-plan wash basin area in the sleeping part of the room. The modern shower is partitioned off as is the WC.
The king bed is on the lower level and the rooms contains a small desk and chair ideal for relaxing in and taking in the natural view right in front of you.
Basic Interior Room
This is a room within the original, main hotel building. Reasonably spacious, king-sized or two twin beds compilation.
Small Room with Fiord View
This is a room within the original, main building. As the name suggests, this is a smaller-sized room, but with views to the fiord.
We can include this hotel in your itinerary of requested or if cost and logistical requirements suggest that it should be included.

Regarding Weskar, below is the detail of the sanitary measures that we will implement to overcome this crisis:
- We will increase social distance in the common areas of the hotel. This means halving the density of the restaurant and all our rest areas.
- We will keep a permanent disinfection protocol for common areas, rooms and staff areas.
- We will have permanent elements for disinfection.
- During this pandemic time our staff will work with a mask and gloves.
- We will offer food of the fourth and fifth range, favoring health. This means controlling the atmosphere and deep freezing to maintain the best sanitary conditions for food.
- We will implement a la carte breakfast options in our restaurant and also in the room, at no additional cost.
- We will expand the common areas of our work team, enabling them with the resources and supplies that allow us to establish protocols for personal hygiene and sanitation.
