Domos Frances

Introduction

Domos Frances are quite large and sturdy dome-shaped tents. The structures are metallic frames covered by plastic atop a wooden base. Inside each dome are bund beds in small, dorm-style configurations.

There is an en-suite, communal shower and WC unit for each domo.

• Located about half way between Cuernos and the entrance to the French Valley (camp Italiano).
• No wi-fi internet and no electrical sockets for charging batteries.
• Towels, soap and shampoo provided.
• Capacity for 32 people.
• 4 Domes with capacity for 8 people in each, with bunk beds.
• Made beds with pillows, sheets and duvets.
• WC for each dome, shared with other occupants of the dome.
• Full board meal service ONLY FOR GUESTS IN THE DOMES.

This spot is more or less, half-way between Refugio Cuernos and the entrance to the French Valley, or Camping Italiano, which is located at the entrance to the France Valley.

A “domo” comprises plastic sheeting over an octagon-shaped metal frame. This construction allows for a roomy interior whereupon there are bunk beds and capacity for six people. The location of Domos Frances is half way between the Refugio Cuernos and the entrance into the French Valley. Trekking time from the Domos Frances to the French Valley entrance is about 1hr.

We arrange bed and breakfast and all-inclusive reservations and for the all-inclusive minimum 4 nights.

We will include Domos Frances in your W Trek itinerary if requested to do so or if cost and logistics determine that we need to include this in the itinerary.
