This excursion can be taken during the regular Perito Moreno Excursion. It is a boat trip that crosses Lake Rico, passing any icebergs that have calved off from the Perito Moreno glacier. Upon reaching the “Icebergs Channel” the boat will stop at a safe distance from the Perito Moreno glacier before continuing to navigate along and opposite its glacial wall. The boat used for this excursion is the Yagan with a capacity to carry up to 130 passengers. Clients will be taken to the embarkation point at the “Bajo de las Sombras” bay located about 6km before the Perito Moreno glacier viewing points. Navigations are at hourly departures between 10:00hrs to 16:00hrs.
